2024 National Meeting Review and Photos
The 8th National Meeting was held at The Holiday Inn in Beaufort, SC with a meet and greet on the hotel patio Friday, April 19, 2024. It was a beautiful evening.
The meeting began on Saturday, April 20th with the morning presentation and lunch program presented by guest speaker Rich Thomas, founder of Legacy Leadership. 2–6 pm was the scheduled free time before the dinner program, where Cathy DeCourcy and Linda Morrison from the Jasper County 250 Committee gave a lecture on the lost French Huguenot city of Purysburgh. The event concluded about 8 pm.
Other activities included raffles and prizes for oldest and youngest attendees. Lawrence Prevatte and Caitlin Williams were the big winners! Everyone enjoyed meeting new family and spending time with those members seldom seen, as well as discussing ancestry and discovering new family history!
We missed those unable to attend the meeting and hope to see everyone next year.
